I tell people that I’m a marketing guy burdened with copywriting skills. Because I’ve always thought that copywriting not based on marketing is like one hand clapping.
Have been fortunate to work with remarkable clients in agencies like McCann Erickson where I learned the importance of grounding creative in sound marketing. Also small and medium-sized agencies including a creative powerhouse in Los Angeles, not to mention years of freelance.
So my brand is an extremely effective concept/copywriter who can create exceptional advertising for almost any client. But don’t take my word for it, look at the work. It speaks for itself, usually saying “Hire this guy.”
